Feeling Sick!

I didn't get much accomplished today at all.  I have a really bad head cold and I'm getting paranoid I could have the flu.  I've been checking my temperature every 2 or 3 hours, and so far no temperature! Thank goodness!  But I still fill like poo!  Hope to be better in the morning!

I did do a little sewing first thing this morning. 

I'm participating in a BOM on a facebook page called Terry's 2013 BOM.  This is the block I made this morning.  I'm trying to do this out of my stash, what little there is, and not buy any new fabric. Thats one of my New Years resolutions!  So I have picked some fabrics that I had bought to make baby quilts, and the little floral is fabric I bought on sale to make dresses for my little granddaughter, Emma, sorry Emma :)  I think the quilt will turn out ok, and I can use it on my guest bed or give it away to someone who likes pastels, I'm really not a pastel person.  My color is RED!

I am really going to have to learn how to use my new camera, phone photos just aren't going to be good enough to upload into a blog.  More learning on my part.

 

Anyway you get the idea. 

 

After I made the block I ate some lunch and sat in the easy chair all afternoon.  This cold has really got me down.

 

I do have a fun day planned tomorrow...cold permitting.  I'm taking my 3 grand kids and daughter with me to pick up our new puppies.  My husband and I have a farm with cattle, sheep and chickens.  I found the most adorable puppies on a facebook sale site that is in our area.  We are getting a male and a female 1/2 Great Pyrenees, 1/2 Anatolian Shepherd guard dog puppies. 

 



This is one of them! Isn't it cute!  My grand kids will be so excited and so am I.  Hopefully I'm well enough to make the trip in the morning!
